Course Description
Let’s move beyond the basics!
This course explores practical methodologies for integrating AI into teaching and learning. Participants will go beyond simply using AI tools—they will investigate diverse approaches to AI-enhanced classroom activities and learn to design immersive, pedagogically sound AI-based learning experiences. Through exposure to a wide range of AI-integrated strategies, participants will engage in rich discussions and collaborative exploration. By the end of the course, they will have developed practical understanding of how AI technologies can enhance education as well as the ability to leverage AI in their fields.
Objectives
1. Gaining complex knowledge on AI-integrated methodologies.
2. Integrating AI technologies into lesson planning to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
3. Designing and implementing AI-supported classroom activities that are pedagogically sound and curriculum-aligned.
4. Fostering digital competence in learners by modeling effective and ethical use of AI tools.
5. Creating interactive, student-centered learning experiences using AI-driven platforms and applications.
6. Critically assessing the impact of AI on education, including its benefits, limitations, and ethical considerations.
7. Collaborating with peers to co-design cross-curricular AI-enhanced teaching strategies.
8. Adapting traditional teaching methodologies to incorporate AI in meaningful and accessible ways.
9. Supporting students in using AI to develop subject-specific skills, such as writing, problem-solving, or research.
10. Reflecting on and refine their own teaching practice through the application of AI integration frameworks.
Target Group
This course is designed for educators of all levels as well as individuals interested in AI-powered technologies to elevate their teaching.
Learning Outcomes
This course is built on active, participatory learning. A blend of hands-on workshops, collaborative projects, guided exploration of AI tools, case studies, and group reflection will help participants meaningfully integrate AI into their practice. Educators will engage in real-time design tasks, peer feedback, and microteaching sessions using AI-supported methods. Assessment is formative and continuous: participants will create a portfolio of AI-integrated lesson plans, reflect on their learning, and receive peer and trainer feedback throughout. By the end of the course, they will have a ready-to-use toolkit and an evidence-based understanding of AI pedagogy.
